Omelette Toasted Sandwich

A great breakfast recipe inspired by one of Korea's most popular street foods.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 large Egg
  • 15 grams Grated Cheddar or Mozzarella
  • 1 tsp Mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 slices Bread
  • 4 slices Wafer thin ham

Equipment

  • Small frying pan (non stick is best)
  • toaster
  • Fine cheese grater

Method
 

  1. Heat a little bit of oil in a pan
  2. Crack the egg into a cup and beat
  3. Toast the bread
  4. Add the egg to the hot pan
  5. As the egg starts to firm sprinkle on the cheese
  6. Add a generous pinch of salt and pepper to the egg
  7. Lay our the toast and butter
  8. Spread the mustard and mayonnaise on the top slice
  9. Add the omelette to the bottom slice
  10. Place the ham on top of the Omelette
  11. Place the top slice on top and press down
  12. Cut horizontally and enjoy
