Hi There Toastie Fans,
You know, they say you should never mess with a classic, why mess with perfection, don’t fix what isn’t broken. Sometimes, these are wise words but often they are just muttered by those people who fear change,
So, last week I decided to mess with a classic and turned the iconic British favourite cheese and pickle sandwich into a toastie and guess what?
It worked.
Both me and Mrs Toastie Chef enjoyed the hot sandwich with its sweet pickle and gooey cheese. In fact, Mrs Toastie Chef enjoyed it so much it has now her number one choice for a toastie.
